THE SONG THEY ARE SINGING

WHY NOT YOU AND I, a poem, is up at Thirteen Myna Birds. Part of a series that kept me from losing my mind this summer. Two others and a short narrative will appear in The Fall Fiction Quarterly at Full of Crow next month. One poem remains to be published or accepted (along with a traditional ghost story, which I may or may not submit anywhere). Thanks to Juliet at TMB for putting this up.

The profanity and graphic description are restrained, but the content is nonetheless disturbing.

Read:
WHY NOT YOU AND I

(The title comes from a short story collection by the late Karl Edward Wagner. Read him if you haven't.)
